All Steering Column Functions Are Inoperative

If all steering system functions are inoperative during both manual and automatic operations, perform the following procedures in order listed.

• Perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
• Test tilt/telescopic motor power supply and ground circuits. Perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 2: POWER SUPPLY & GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK FOR TILT/TELESCOPIC MOTOR under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure .
• Test tilt sensor. Perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 3: TILT SENSOR CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure .
• Test telescopic sensor. Perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 4: TELESCOPIC SENSOR CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure .
