Steering Column Tilt Function is Inoperative
If steering column tilt function is inoperative during both manual and automatic operations, perform the following procedures in order listed.
- Perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
- Test tilt motor. Perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE NO. 9: TILT MOTOR CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS. See Figure .
