Component Inspection

  1. Reconnect all harness connectors.
  2. Perform THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING. See THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING  under PROGRAMMING.
  3. Turn ignition switch on. Set selector lever to "D" position.
  4. Check voltage between ECM terminals No. 50 (TP sensor 1 signal), No. 69 (TP sensor 2 signal) and engine ground. For specifications, see Figure .
  5. If voltages are not to specification, replace electric throttle actuator.
  6. Perform THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING. See THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING  under PROGRAMMING.
  7. Perform IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING. See IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING  under PROGRAMMING.
