Section 20 (Charging System (2UZ-FE)): Generator: Installation

INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the generator with the bolt and 2 nuts.
  Torque: for bolt and nut (A)
  
  39 N*m (398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)
  
  for nut (B)
  
  16 N*m (163 kgf*cm, 12 ft.*lbf)

2. Connect the generator connector.
3. Connect the generator wire with the nut.
  Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf)
4. Install the terminal cap.
5. Install the harness bracket to the generator with the bolt.

  Torque: 8.2 N*m (84 kgf*cm, 73 in.*lbf)
INSTALL VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT INSTALLATION
CONNECT AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the air cleaner hose to the throttle body.
INSTALL THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected INITIALIZATION
