Component Function Check

CHECK FUNCTION

Turn ignition switch ON.
Select "TILT SW-UP", "TILT SW-DN" in the "Data monitor" mode using CONSULT.

Check tilt switch signal under the following conditions.

Monitor item	Condition		Status
TILT SW-UP	Tilt switch (up)	Operate	ON
TILT SW-UP	Tilt switch (up)	Release	OFF
TILT SW-DN	Tilt switch (down)	Operate	ON
TILT SW-DN	Tilt switch (down)	Release	OFF

Is the indication normal?

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: Perform diagnosis procedure. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
