Component Function Check

  1. CHECK MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR FUNCTION
    1. Perform "INSPECTION MODE 5". Refer to "DESCRIPTION ".
    2. Start engine and warm it up to the normal operating temperature.
    3. Check the voltage between ECM harness connector terminals as per the following.
      ECM Voltage (V)
      Connector + -
      Terminal Terminal
      M107 38 36 1.0 - 4.0

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: INSPECTION END

      NO: Go to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE "
