Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH

    1. Turn Ignition Switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect Drive Mode Select Switch harness connector.
    3. Check the continuity between Drive Mode Select Switch terminals as follows.
      Drive Mode Select Switch Condition Continuity
      + -
      Terminals
      1 2 Switch to down-position. Existed
      Other than the above. Not existed
      3 Switch to up-position. Existed
      Other than the above. Not existed

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    INSPECTION END

    NO 

    Replace Drive Mode Select Switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
