Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE IGNITION POWER SUPPLY

    1. Turn the Ignition Switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect Chassis Control Module harness connector.
    3. Check the voltage between Chassis Control Module harness connector and ground.
      + - Voltage
      (Approx.)
      Chassis Control Module
      Connector Terminal
      E219 4 Ground 0 V

    4. Turn the Ignition Switch ON.
      CAUTION:

      Never start engine.

    5. Check the voltage between Chassis Control Module harness connector and ground.
      + - Voltage

      Chassis Control Module

      E219 4 Ground 6.4 - 16 V
      25

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

    NO 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. CHECK CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE IGNITION POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

    1. Turn the Ignition Switch OFF.
    2. Check the 5 A fuse (No. 21).
    3. Check the 5 A fuse (No. 23).
    4. Disconnect fuse block (J/B) harness connector.
    5. Check the continuity between Chassis Control Module harness connector and fuse block (J/B) harness connector.

    6. Check the continuity between Chassis Control Module harness connector and the ground.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    Perform trouble diagnosis for ignition power supply.

    NO 

    Repair or replace error-detected parts.

  3. CHECK CHASSIS CONTROL MODULE GROUND CIRCUIT

    1. Turn the Ignition Switch OFF.
    2. Check the continuity between Chassis Control Module harness connector and ground.

      E219 6 Ground Existed
      23

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 4  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace error-detected parts.

  4. CHECK TERMINAL

    Check the Chassis Control Module pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    INSPECTION END

    NO 

    Repair or replace error-detected parts.
