Diagnosis System (Display Control Unit): Description

The Display control unit on board diagnosis includes the following functions:

• Multifunction switch and preset switch self diagnosis that checks the ON/OFF operation (continuity) of each switch in the multifunction switch and preset switch.
  NOTE:

  The hazard switch and disk eject switch are not included in this operation check.

• Display control unit on board diagnosis performs the following functions listed in the table below:

  Mode		Description
  Self Diagnosis		Display control unit diagnosis. Diagnoses the connections across system components.
  Confirmation/Adjustment	Display Diagnosis	The following check functions are available: Display settings Touch panel check Sensor sensitivity settings
  	Vehicle Signals	Diagnosis of signals can be performed for Vehicle Speed, Parking Brake Signal, Light Signal, Ignition Signal, Reverse Signal and Navigation.
  	### Speaker Test	Speaker connections can be confirmed by test tone.
  	Navigation	The following check functions are available: Sensor Information Route Simulation
  	Error History	The system malfunction and the frequency when occurring in the past are displayed. When the malfunctioning item is selected, the time and place that the selected malfunction last occurred are displayed.
  	AV COMM Diagnosis	The communication condition of each unit of Multi AV system can be monitored.
  	Clock Setting	The date and time information can be adjusted.
  	Camera Control	Camera guidelines can be adjusted and the factory configuration can be displayed.
  	SXM	Display the information related to satellite radio.
  	Delete Unit Connection Log	Erase the connection history of unit and error history.
  	Reset Settings	Initializes the display control unit memory.
  	Version Information	Version information of the display control unit is displayed.
  	Program Update	Version of the display control unit can be updated.
  	Switch Information	Displays each switch information.
  	### Handsfree	The received volume adjustment of hands - free phone, microphone speaker check, and erase memory can be performed.

Perform CONSULT diagnosis if the Display control unit on board diagnosis does not start, the screen does not display anything, or the multifunction switch and preset switch self diagnosis does not function.
