Test 3 - Coolant Temperature Sensor (Codes 14, 15 And 16)
- Disconnect MCU control terminals at MCU. Disconnect terminal connector from coolant temperature sensor. Check circuits 6 and 8 between the MCU terminal and coolant temperature sensor for shorts and grounds.
- Measure the resistance across the coolant temperature sensor terminals. Compare sensor resistance to coolant temperature.
