Remote Keyless Entry System

  1. Open driver's door. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ACC position, then to OFF position 3 times within 5 seconds after completing step  1. Go to next step.
  3. Close driver's door and open it 2 times within 10 seconds after completing step  2. Go to next step.
  4. Turn ignition switch to ACC position, then to OFF position 5 times. Close driver's door and open it. This step must be completed within 10 seconds after step  3. The control unit will cycle lock/unlock, with one second intervals. Go to next step.
  5. Depress the LOCK or UNLOCK button of transmitter within 20 seconds after step  4. The control unit will cycle lock/unlock, with one second intervals, as ID is temporarily input. Go to next step.
  6. Depress the LOCK or UNLOCK button of transmitter within 20 seconds after step  5. Control unit will compare temporary ID code with receiving ID code. If codes are the same, control unit will cycle lock/unlock 3 times with one second intervals. Programming is complete. If codes are not the same, go to next step.
  7. The control unit will erase all current codes and register new codes. If codes have been replaced, the control unit will cycle lock/unlock, with one second intervals. If codes were not replaced, control unit will cycle lock/unlock 3 times with one second intervals. If control unit cycles lock/unlock 3 times with one second intervals, go to step  1.
