Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) Programming

NOTE: When EEPROM is reprogrammed, Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor variation learn procedure must be performed. See Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Variation Learn Procedure .

If Powertrain Control Module (PCM) was replaced, the EEPROM in the PCM must be programmed. If EEPROM is not programmed, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC P0602) will be set in PCM. Perform EEPROM programming using the Techline equipment manufacturer's instructions and latest applicable software for vehicle.
