"G" Sensor/Accelerometer

NOTE: Applies only to vehicles equipped with 4WD. "G" sensor/accelerometer may also be known as "G" sensor.

"G" sensor is mounted under center console, and is used to detect vehicle deceleration during 4WD operation. This allows ABS control to compensate for changes in road surface condition.
