Circuit Description

The VSS circuit uses a Hall Effect switch to inform PCM of vehicle speed.

Conditions required to set DTC are:

• Engine is running.
• Engine coolant temperature is greater than 140°F (60°C).
• System voltage is 10-16 volts.
