Circuit Description

Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) communication is used internally by PCM to send messages between PCM and Transmission Control Module (TCM). Each message contains a check sum value. Both PCM and TCM will compare check sum value to a predetermined calculated value. If check sums do not match, DTC P1618 will set.
