Programming Additional Id Codes
NOTE:
This procedure additionally registers new ID code with holding registered ID codes. If total number of registered ID codes and newly registered ID code exceed four, the oldest one is erased.
- Make sure that all doors are closed and unlocked. Open driver's side door. Insert ignition key into starter switch. Then go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to ACC position and OFF position quickly three times. (Must be carried out within 5 seconds after step 1 is finished). Is action complete? If Yes, then go to next step. If No, then go back to step 1 .
- Close and open driver's side door quickly tow times. (Must be carried out within ten seconds after step 2 is finished). Is action complete? If Yes, then go to next step. If No, then go back to step 1 .
- Turn ignition switch to ACC and OFF position quickly three times. Close and open driver's side door one time. (Must be carried out within ten seconds after step 3 is finished. Is action complete? If Yes, then go to next step. If No, then go back to step 1 .
- Control unit locks and unlocks doors two times. Does control unit work normally? If Yes, then go to next step. If No, then go back to step 1 .
- Operate lock or unlock button of the transmitter. (Must be carried out within twenty seconds after step 5 is finished). Is action complete? If Yes, then go to next step. If No, then go back to step 1 .
- Control unit locks and unlocks the doors one time. Does control unit work normally? If Yes, then go to next step. If No, then go back to step 1 .
- Operate lock or unlock button of transmitter. (Must be carried out within twenty seconds after step 7 is finished). Is action complete? If Yes, then go to next step. If No, then go back to step 1 .
- If registration succeeds, control unit locks and unlocks the doors one time. If registration fails, control unit locks and unlocks the doors three times, then go back to step 1 .
