"G" Sensor/Accelerometer

NOTE: "G" sensor/accelerometer may also be known as "G" sensor. "G" sensor applies to vehicles equipped with 4WD.

"G" sensor is mounted inside the EHCU, and is used to detect vehicle deceleration during 4WD operation. This allows ABS control to compensate for changes in road surface condition.
