Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No fuel injector, MAP, IAT, ECT, TP or VSS sensor DTCs set.
• Diagnostic test failed is 3 consecutive failures were detected during a 500 msec/test period.

Warm Case Test

• Start-up ECT is less than 68°F (20°C).
• Start-up IAT 50°F (10°C) or more.
• Accumulated airflow is 900 grams or more.
• Engine run time is 90 seconds or more.
• Time for coolant to reach stabilized closed loop value is less than 120 seconds.

Cold Case Test

• IAT is between 20°F (-7°C) and 50°F (10°C).
• Accumulated airflow is 2000 grams or more.
• Engine run time is less than 225 seconds.
• Time for coolant to reach stabilized closed loop value is less than 300 seconds.

Other Case Test

• IAT is between -37°F (-38°C) and 20°F (-7°C).
• Accumulated airflow is 3600 grams or more.
• Engine run time is less than 450 seconds.
• Time for coolant to reach stabilized closed loop value is less than 600 seconds.
