Generators & Regulators: Overhaul: Generator: Reassembly

To reassemble, apply the disassembly in the reverse order, noting the followings:

1. Using a press with a socket wrench attached, reassemble rotor and rear end cover assembly in the front cover. See Fig 1 .
2. Install the pulley on the rotor. Secure the pulley directly in the vise between two copper plates, and tighten the nut to torque specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . See Fig 2 .
