Conditions for Setting DTC

• No active Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS), TP, Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP), Intake Air Temperature (IAT), Mass Air Flow (MAF) or ECT DTC(s) are present.
• Engine is running.

Warm case (ambient temperature is between 50-52°F (10-29°C):

• Time for engine coolant temperature reach to allow "closed loop" operation (50°C/122°F) is less than 2 minutes since start-up.
• Time for engine was idling is less than 90 seconds in total since start-up. And then air volume is above 3000g in total

Cold case (ambient temperature is between 9-50°F (7-10°C):

• Time for engine coolant temperature reach to allow "closed loop" operation [122°F(50°C)] is less than 5 minutes since start-up.
• Time for engine was idling is less than 225 seconds in total since start-up. And then air volume is above 3000 grams in total.

Third case (ambient temperature is between (-22-9°F (-7-38.5°C):

• Time for engine coolant temperature reach to allow "closed loop" operation 122°F (50°C) is less than 10 minutes since start-up.
• Time for engine was idling is less than 450 seconds in total since start-up. And then air volume is above 5300 grams in total.
• The above condition fails 1.5 seconds consecutive times.
