Diagnostic Aids

DTC P0601 indicates that contents of EEPROM have changed since ECM was programmed. Only repair is ECM replacement. Ensure replacement ECM is reprogrammed using correct software and calibration for vehicle. See EEPROM PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE  under POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE.
