Lubrication

1. Remove distributor cap.
2. Check centrifugal advance for smooth operation. If sticky or frozen, refer to Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Distributor/Distributor Advance Unit/Service and Repair.
3. Remove distributor rotor.
4. Apply 3 - 4 drops of engine oil into top of distributor shaft.
5. Fit new rotor.
6. Refit cap.
