Beginning with the 1989 M.Y., XJ6 3.6 vehicles incorporate a revised cruise control system.

Revised cruise control features are as follows:

^ A speed control continuity unit (Fig. 1) replaces the original speed control relay. This enables the system to operate when the transmission gear selector is in position "D", "2" and "3".
