Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection

Idle Switch:

1. Unplug switch harness connector on left inner fender.
2. Connect ohmmeter across switch side terminals. With throttle closed, there should be no continuity (switch open).
3. Partially open throttle. Continuity should now exist (switch closed).
4. If not as specified and no obvious physical damage exists, adjust switch and check again.
5. If still not correct, replace and adjust switch.
