Ignition Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument shroud from panel and instrument module casing.
3. Loosen screws securing shroud to lower mounting bracket, and ease shroud out of its location. This allows access to ignition switch mounting bolt.
4. Loosen mounting bolt, then remove switch and harness from bracket.
5. Remove rubber retainer and disconnect electrical connector to remove ignition switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
