Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Adjustments

Rotary Switch Adjust:

1. With selector lever in N position, remove rotary switch protective cover (1), Fig. 5.
2. Loosen mounting bracket bolts and remove rubber plug from switch (2), Fig. 5.
3. Install rotary switch setting tool No. JD-161 or equivalent, to align switch rotor with switch body.
4. After alignment, evenly tighten switch securing bolts.
