Removal & Installation
- HO2S is mounted in exhaust pipe, below exhaust header. All oxygen sensors are equipped with permanent pigtail, which must be protected from damage when installing sensor.
- Ensure sensor is free of contaminants. Sensor may be difficult to remove when engine temperature is less than 120°F (48°C). Always use anti-seize compound on threads before installation. Tighten sensor to 30 ft. lbs. (41 N.m).
