Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor (6.0L)

6.0L models are equipped with 2 sensors. CKP sensor at rear of engine (may also by referred to as engine speed sensor or flywheel sensor) monitors engine speed. CKP sensor at front of engine (TDC sensor), monitors crankshaft location. This information is sent to PCM to control fuel injection pulse and ignition timing.
