Front Caster Adjustment

NOTE: Vehicle must be checked to establish that it conforms to the Jaguar original specification, such as wheels, tires, tire pressures, etc.
NOTE: This procedure must be carried out using a 4-post ramp. Adjustments to the caster will affect the toe settings. Caster and toe may need to be adjusted at the same time to achieve the correct wheel alignment settings.
  1. Loosen the front lower control arm lock nut. See Fig 1 . Rotate the caster adjustment cam bolt to adjust caster.
  2. Following the alignment equipment manufacturers instructions, check the caster setting. Adjust as necessary. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Ensuring the caster adjustment cam bolt does not turn, tighten lock nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
