Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

Knock Sensor (KS) (18.30.69)

Removal
1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the intake manifold.
3. Remove the KS.
- Remove the 2 nuts.







Installation
1. Install the KS.
- Tighten the nuts to 20 Nm (15 lb.ft).
2. Install the intake manifold.
3. Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover.
