DTC B1D97-96: Tilt Sensor - Component internal failure: Action
- Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS and check the battery back-up sounder power or ground circuit(s) for open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
- If the fault persists, refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS and check the battery back-up sounder LIN bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
- If the fault persists, install a new battery back-up sounder
