DTC B1316-02: Boot/Trunk Latch Power Close Unit - General signal failure: Action
- Check the luggage compartment lid soft close movement is not blocked. Check the child entrapment lever is not stuck in the pulled position
- Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS and check the striker home signal line from the soft close unit to the luggage compartment lid control module for short circuit to power, open circuit. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
- Check and install new luggage compartment lid soft close unit as required
- Check and install new luggage compartment lid control module as required
