Possible Causes
NOTE:
- Monitor description . Inferred mixture strength (lambda) below threshold, (richer mixture). Monitors cylinder specific fuelling errors which may not be detected by the overall fuel system monitor
- This DTC is set when the powertrain control module has determined failures where some circuit quantity, reported via serial data, is below a specified range.
- Intake air system blockage, restricting air from entering cylinders
- Specified cylinder, localised damage/restriction of fuel rail
- Specified cylinder, localised blockage/restriction within exhaust manifold
- Fuel injector failure
- Damage/friction in valve train components
- Camshaft profile switching system failure
