DTC P1536-66: Parking Brake Switch Circuit - Signal has too many transitions/events: Action
NOTE:
The electric park brake system will be locked out if the module receives more then 30 apply/release requests within 1 minute
- Cycle the ignition to clear the fault mode. Clear the DTC and test the system
- Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM(S) and check all the electric park brake switch apply, release and return circuits for intermittent short circuit or open circuit. Repair circuit as required. Clear DTC and retest
- If fault persists, check and install a new electric park brake switch as required
