DTC B100D-62: Column Lock Authorization - Signal compare failure: Action
- Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM(S) and check the power and ground connections to the electric steering column lock and instrument cluster
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, complete a CAN network integrity test. Refer to the applicable SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM(S) and check the CAN network between the electric steering column lock and instrument cluster. Clear DTC and retest
- Confirm the correct electric steering column lock/instrument cluster modules are installed
- Re-synchronize ID by reconfiguring the electric steering column lock as new
- Check CAN network for interference/electromagnetic compatibility related issues. Ensure that the vehicle is away from sources of electromagnetic interference prior to clearing DTCs and retesting
