Possible Causes

Monitor description
. The fuel temperature is compared against a modelled value. The DTC is set when the fuel temperature is greater than the modelled value
- Connector is disconnected, connector pin is backed out, connector pin corrosion
- Fuel temperature sensor circuit, short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Fuel temperature sensor failure
