System Check

  1. On the fire control module, insert the security key and turn it to the OFF/CHECK position.
  2. Press and hold the red BATTERY CHECK button (release the button once you have noted the response of the battery check indicator lamp):
    • If the yellow battery check indicator lamp flashes, the condition of the battery is satisfactory.
    • If the yellow battery check indicator lamp is a dull glow, replace the battery and repeat the system check.
  3. On the covert options switchpack, open the transparent cover then press and hold the FIRE switch (release the switch once you have noted the response of the continuity check indicator lamp). A sounder emits a pulsing tone and, on the fire control module, the red continuity check indicator lamp should illuminate to indicate wiring continuity is satisfactory.
  4. Turn the security key to the SYSTEM ARMED position and remove the key.
