Possible Causes
NOTE:
This DTC is set when the powertrain control module has not received an expected signal from the steering angle sensor module within the specified time interval.
- Steering angle sensor module power or ground circuit open circuit, high resistance
- High speed CAN bus (chassis) circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- High speed CAN bus (powertrain) circuit short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Steering angle sensor system fault
