P0177-34 Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Range/Performance - Signal high time < minimum: Action
- Check for additional after market installations that may cause electromagnetic compatibility interference
- Check powertrain control module for additional DTCs and refer to relevant DTC index. Rectify these first
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS information and check the flex fuel sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Check and install a new flex fuel sensor as required
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
