DTC B12E8-23: Liftgate/Tailgate Control/Release Switch - Signal stuck low: Action
NOTE:
To validate the repair run the engine for at least 120 seconds and check the exterior tailgate open switch function, then using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment check that this DTC is not logged within the body control module
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the exterior tailgate open switch circuit for short circuit to ground
- Check the operation of the exterior tailgate open switch
