DTC P226C-84:Turbocharger Boost Control "A" Slow Response - Signal below allowable range: Action
NOTE:
To validate the repair, clear the DTCs and perform a road test that consists of three drive cycles (engine on/off).
- Refer to the appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS information and check the variable geometry turbocharger vane actuator circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Check the integrity of the variable geometry turbocharger vanes and linkage. Rectify as necessary
- Check the operation of the variable geometry turbocharger vane actuator. Install a new variable geometry turbocharger vane actuator as necessary
