DTC P247A-85: Exhaust Gas Temperature Out of Range (Bank 1 Sensor 3) - Signal above allowable range: Action
- Refer to the appropriate System Wiring Diagram(s) and check the exhaust gas temperature sensor pre DPF circuit for short circuit to power
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Check air induction system for leakage
- Check diesel oxidation catalyst system for mechanical integrity
- Check and install a new exhaust gas temperature sensor pre DPF as required
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
