DTC P045B-85: EGR "B" Control Circuit Range/Performance - Signal above allowable range: Action
NOTE:
To validate the repair, clear the DTCs and perform a road test that consists of three drive cycles (engine on/off).
- Refer to the appropriate System Wiring Diagram(s) and check the low pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve actuator circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new low pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve as necessary
- Refer to the appropriate System Wiring Diagram(s) and check the low pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve position sensor circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new low pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve as necessary
- Check the operation of the low pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve. Install a new low pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve as necessary
