ISSUE
After replacement of any of the modules listed below, the module may have configuration Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) stored. Some associated systems features may not work after a successful software update using PATHFINDER 252:
- Restraints Control Module (RCM)
- Power Steering Control Module (PSCM)
- Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM)
- Seatbelt Pre-Tensioner Control Module 'A' (SPMA)
- Seatbelt Pre-Tensioner Control Module 'A' (SPMB)

- Side Obstacle Detection Control Module - Left (SODL)
- Body Control Module (BCM)
- Gateway Module (GWM)
KNOWN CONCERNS
- After BCM/GWM replacement there is no communications with the Image Processing Module B (IPMB)
- After BCM/GWM replacement the Air Conditioning system no longer operates.
- After replacement of the Restraints Control Module (RCM), there are configuration DTC's stored.
- Electronic Power Assisted Steering no longer operates.
- Charging system fault displayed on the Instrument Cluster IPC and the Electronic Power Invertor Convertor (EPIC).
CAUSE
As part of changes to PATHFINDER's software, an As-Is file is created on session entry. If the module is supplied with different software than the vehicle was built with, the As-Is file will be updated incorrectly. This will cause the incorrect software to be loaded to the module.
PERMANENT CORRECTIVE ACTION
The original SSM and Manual Patch have now been expired as the Permanent Corrective Action was released on 16/10/2019 within the PATHFINDER software version 254
