DTC P0615-04: Starter Relay "A" Circuit - System internal failures: Action
- Check powertrain control module for related DTCs and refer to relevant DTC index
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the starter motor relay circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Install a new starter motor relay, only when diagnosed as failed
- Install a new powertrain control module, only when diagnosed as failed
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, complete 'New Module - Powertrain control module - Diesel' routine
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, complete 'Fuel lift pump' routine (0x4027_00)
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest
