DTC C2008-13: Left Motor - Circuit open: Action
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2023 Jaguar F-Pace and 2022 Jaguar F-Pace. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the left electric park brake actuator circuit for open circuit, high resistance
- Check the power line and connectors between the left actuator and HW driver control
- Check the failure memory for host failures related to the control of the left actuator and follow the repair instructions
- Perform ignition change and delete failure memory (switch the Ignition OFF and back ON, then clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s))
- Check functionality by applying and releasing the electric park brake
- If the DTC is set again, perform ignition change and delete failure memory (switch the Ignition OFF and back ON, then clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s))
- Connect right actuator with the left side cable and vice versa and apply and release the electric park brake. If the failure C2007-13 is set: exchange (original) left actuator. If the failure C2008-13 is set: search for failures in the power line between host and left actuator and in the control of the left actuator (HOST)
