DTC P085D-94: Gear Shift Control Module "A" Performance - Unexpected operation: Action

NOTE: This DTC will only be set during an on-demand self-test

Inspect the selector lever for any obstructions and clear any obstruction around the selector lever
Inspect the park button for any obstructions and clear any obstruction around the park button
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s), switch the ignition OFF (wait for 60 seconds). Switch Ignition ON (make sure the Park switch is illuminated on the transmission control switch and the gear position indicator in the instrument cluster is displaying P). Test the operation of the selector lever, if gears cannot be selected, run the transmission control switch On Demand Self Test. If the fault persists, replace the transmission control switch
