DTC P085D-96: Gear Shift Control Module "A" Performance - Component internal failure: Action
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s), switch the ignition OFF (wait for 60 seconds). Switch Ignition ON (make sure the Park switch is illuminated on the transmission control switch and the gear position indicator in the instrument cluster is displaying P). Test the operation of the selector lever, if gears cannot be selected, run the transmission control switch On Demand Self Test. If the fault persists, replace the transmission control switch
