DTC U0121-08: Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module - Bus signal/message failures: Action

NOTE:

Any short circuit, open circuit, or high resistance faults detected on the FlexRay harness should be repaired in accordance with the Jaguar Land Rover approved wiring harness repair procedure maintaining 90 to 100 ohms across the FlexRay network, maintaining the wire twist rate (20 mm+/-2 mm for one full 360° twist), using no more than of five in-line connectors on each branch of the FlexRay network. No repair actions relating to the transmission or transmission control module will rectify this fault

Prioritized steps to perform:
Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram(s) and check the anti-lock brake system control module power and ground circuits for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
Refer to the appropriate Wiring Diagram(s) and check the FlexRay bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the anti-lock brake system control module for related Diagnostic Trouble Code(s) and refer to the relevant DTC index
