DTC C1005-77: Left Power Running Board Deploy - Commanded position not reachable: Action

NOTE:

When repairing, disconnect the deployable sidestep motor electrical connector because of trap hazard near hinges due to unexpected operation.
The physical obstruction might have been removed

Check the left deployable sidestep hinges for dirt and debris, wash the step if necessary
Remove the left deployable sidestep from hinges. Check the rear hinge for free movement. If movement is restricted renew the left deployable sidestep rear hinge. Connect the left deployable sidestep motor electrical connector and check that the front hinge extends when the door is opened. Replace the left deployable sidestep motor/front hinge assembly as necessary. Clear the DTCs and retest
